Plot

Phoenix secretary Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), on the lam after stealing $40,000

from her employer in order to run away with her boyfriend, Sam Loomis (John Gavin),

is overcome by exhaustion during a heavy rainstorm.

Traveling on the back roads to avoid the police,

she stops for the night at the ramshackle Bates Motel and meets the polite but highly strung

proprietor Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), a young man with an interest

in taxidermy and a difficult relationship with his mother.

某天在摩斯漢堡看雜誌時，雜誌編輯提到這部經典驚悚電影，

也是「Rear Window」的導演 Hitchcocks所導的一部黑白電影。

會看「Rear Window」是因為這是一部攝影人推薦攝影人看的電影，

而這部驚悚記因為也是驚悚大師希區考克所執導,

衝著他在驚悚界的地位，我就去看了這部電影。第一次看黑白電影的感覺還真奇妙，

內容很直白簡潔易懂，女主角偷了公司的錢之後，

開車逃離市區到一間郊區的飯店休憩，在洗澡時被飯店的老闆殺害，老闆患有精神分裂，

母親是他的另一個人格, 電影的配樂是讓人頭皮發麻的重要因素，

還有拍攝手法，不過黑白畫面大概也會提高驚悚指數，總之是部非看不可的電影。
